Privacy

This website uses no analytics of its own, advertising trackers, forms or cookies. Fonts and styles load without external font services.

On your first visit, the website chooses a supported browser language: Dutch, French, English or German. If none matches, it stays in Dutch. Direct French, English or German links keep their language. If you choose NL, FR, EN or DE yourself, the website saves only that preference in your browser’s local storage. You can remove it by clearing this website’s data in your browser. The stored preference is not sent to a server.

Data in the app

Indoor Matchclock stores the latest match locally on your iPad: team names, scores, period, remaining time and match settings. Devices also store an appearance preference and a short random name for pairing. The app language follows Apple’s system settings. An old in-app language preference may remain stored locally but is no longer used.

During pairing, that short device name is visible to nearby devices. After confirmation, the iPad and iPhone exchange match data and control commands over a local, encrypted connection. The iPhone keeps received match data and approval for the current match in memory, including during a temporary connection loss. The Live Activity shares only display data such as team names, scores, period and time with iOS for the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island. No data is sent to a server for this. You can disable Live Activities in the app’s iOS settings.

The app sends no data to the developer and uses no developer-operated server, account, advertising or analytics. We do not track you or sell data.

Storage, deletion and permission

The iPad stores the latest match until you change it or delete the app. New match resets the scores and clock; team names and settings are kept. Delete the app in your device settings to erase all local app data on that device. Removing it only from the Home Screen or offloading it does not erase this data.

Stop the local connection with Disconnect on the iPhone or iPad. You can revoke Local Network permission in your device settings. Your iPad can then continue to work independently as a scoreboard.

Apple Watch remote

The Watch remote connects directly to the iPad over local, encrypted Bluetooth after code comparison and approval on the iPad. It exchanges match state and control commands, without sending them to the developer or a server. The Watch follows the app language synced by Apple; received match information, session keys and approval for the current match stay in memory.

This connection requires Bluetooth permission on the Watch and iPad. You can revoke that permission in the device settings or end the connection in the app. No location, microphone, health, workout or tracking permission is needed. An iPad continues to work as a standalone scoreboard without either remote permission.
